About The Ministry
Pastor Samuel and his wife, Mercy, founded Kerith Ministry in Pallisa, Uganda. An evangelistic passion and love for people shapes their work. Islam is steadily growing in Uganda, especially in the area where Pastor Samuel’s ministry is operating. Muslims are engaged in establishing mosques, providing humanitarian aid, and other efforts intended to promote the Islamic faith.
In order to spread the Gospel, Pastor Samuel conducts numerous evangelistic events in the town and region that lead many to accept Christ. He organized and leads a daily time of prayer in his community, conducted under a canopy near the center of town that is attended by believers from several churches. Pastor Samuel is also working to establish a new church plant in an unreached area in northern Uganda.
Kerith Ministry is involved in biblical teaching, discipleship, and the training of pastors and leaders. Classes, conferences, and training sessions are routinely held at the local church Samuel pastors.
Kerith Ministry cares for 30 children in their orphanage, providing them with a home and Christ-centered atmosphere. An on-site clinic serves both the orphans and community. Pastor Samuel recognizes the value of quality, Christ-centered education and operates the Kerith School, which is currently under significant expansion.
The ministry also produces crops on nearby farmland that helps supply food for the orphanages and as a source of income.
